Been coming here for years and after a great experience again yesterday I thought it was time to write a review. This is an excellent dental practice. Richard Jones is so kind and positive; very gentle, yet expert and knowledgeable, and nothing is too much trouble to explain. He is assisted by pleasant, efficient dental nurses who take great care to keep everything covid-safe. Hygienist Sue is a gem. Richard Jones and the team at JFDP really are the best! Nothing has been too much trouble for Richard in helping me through a difficult journey with my dental issues. He is quite unique in that he explains everything in such detail and really does put you at ease. In the past I have found that dentists can lack any emotional intelligence but this is certainly not the case with Richard. I consider myself very fortunate having him as my dentist.
Have now left this practice after attending for many years but seen a real change for the worse in customer service. I’ve been coming away from my appointments with a real sore mouth having been ‘pulled about’ and gums made to bleed by hygienist. I’ve always had a bit of a fear but their attitude and treatment towards me was just too much. Quite sarcastic. I’ve lost money because I was on the ‘plan’ and they won’t refund but I shall not be going back.
I have been a patient of Richard Jones since he started practicing in St Albans many years ago he is the most amazing dentist I have ever known, he is kind gentle and explains every thing that he needs to do in a calm reassuring manner and he wouldn’t do anything that wasn’t necessary so I trust him completely I used to be very nervous of dentists until I found Richard.My husband feels the same we are extremely lucky to have him as our dentist as he is so popular I think his list is full.
