After falling literally flat on my face at the North Yorks 10K, I damaged my face and slightly moved two of precious front teeth. I luckily managed to get an appointment at my dentist today and was incredibly worried and nervous about the possibility of loosing my two front teeth. However, not only are the teeth firming up and after an xray to confirm there’s no damage to the root, I left the dentist today very relieved and happy. I made it plain to the receptionist when I booked the appointment that I had a painful abscess and the tooth need to be extracted. I was given an appointment six weeks away. When I attended the appointment the dentist asked a host of irrelevant questions and despite my request that he didn't prod the abscessed tooth, prodded it anyway. He then insisted I have five x-rays on all my teeth at £10.00 a time. I told him no. He said it was for his records; I said then HE should pay for them. You expect a visit to the dentist to be a bit nerve racking, especially if you're going for treatment. What you get from Shildon Smile Centre is the warmest of welcomes and I got a hug from one of the lovely staff members! Mr Pi is a top class dentist who is patient and understanding as well as being warm and friendly and very likely to have a chat. Top class service from a top class team. Thank you for making my visit such a pleasant experience.

Always very nervous when attending a dentist but come out wondering why .... I see Mr Fay and he is lovely .... unfortunately he is leaving the surgery .... hope the new dentist is as nice as Mr Fay ... definately recommend
