The Sherringham Medical Practice

I have MS and I take medication that weaken the immune systems and three time I have had heated discussions about qualifying for vaccines like Shingles and now Covid 19. I still have not heard again from them about the Covid 19 vaccine yet, because everything has to go through the nurse. The medical practice in Hampshire where I lived before there was no hesitation. The communication with the hospital and doctor’s practice is very poor.

Cannot fault the reception, office or pharmacy staff. The nurses are lovely too. The only interaction with a Dr was when he was seeing my mum. He was ok, bit dismissive of listening to her pain requirements. The physio Gary is not the best, doesn't appear to listen and then diagnoses based on minimal touching...quite the magician!?

I had the misfortune of having a medical emergency whilst on holiday in Norfolk and found NHS 111 very helpful in sending me here and giving me their number to call immediately. Unfortunately, all helpfulness went it of the window at first contact with this place. The rude person on phone flat out refused to see me despite my being referred by NHS 111. I explained everything that I'd been advised by 111 but the staff member here was thoroughly invested in ensuring someone wasn't seen to. I went in as a foreign visitor at 8am. I was seen by a doctor a few hours later and prescribed antibiotics. Everyone was so kind and helpful and it cost me nothing. Well done the NHS, well done Sheringham.
