Just visited Carl Agyeman for a 2nd opinion on a problem with my tooth. I must say it is the best experience on any visit to a dentist I have ever had. He was very thorough took an xray and explained the options I had. Although he is a specialist for root canal treatment he never tried to push me in that direction, just explained the pros and cons and gave me the choice of which way to go even if not to his benefit. Many thanks

I am grateful that they are available at the time I needed a dentist because the tooth pain was not responding to any pain relievers. However, I feel the diagnosis was rushed. I was given a rx for antibiotics & a sr pain killers to use in addition to what I had, at that moment all 3 pharmacies I went didn’t have it, mind u this was about 8pm & in pain . I also feel that the the nhs fee was unjustifiable because the issue was not resolved.

So, a very hard yes for the dentist and his assistant, the reception stuff is unprofessional and they made me anxious. Firstly the good stuff. I am neurodivergent and Carl, my dentist was amazing. He gave me a lot of instructions and information in a clear, good phased way. He was very considerate, to the point where he was telling me what was going to happen before having it done. If I could give zero starts I would. Worst practice ever .first of all the dentist filled MY OWN health assessment form and marked no to everything.i didn’t have any medical issues but imagine I did . Can’t imagine how many people have had serious illness attending this practice/ allergies . The dentist was rude also . Didn’t greet me at all . She just told me to lie down and slapped the glasses on . When I tried explaining the problem she wasn’t even listening , just lots of “yeah yeah yeah , huh , huh, yeah “.
