Moor Park Dental Practice

This used to be a good dentist practice for my son however over the last year it steady became awful thanks to rude and not understanding receptionist. 1) they harassed me over a missed appointment while my son was in hospital for an abscess (which they missed) which e needed IV antibiotics 2) when asking to rearrange an appointment due to transport issues I was rudely told “well you need to be more organised” 3) when asked to ensure I had text reminders about appointments due to my disbality I was rudely told “don’t relay on text reminders” And finally after missing an appointment as I…

The dentist is really kind and I appreciate him and his practice. The receptionists on the other hand are very rude and moody all the time. I've had to occasionally ring them couple of times to get an appointment booked but they're unresponsive and I even heard one curse at me and hanged up. So incompetent, they need training especially on how to handle service users, that is so wrong. I've been a member for a year now and I'm always angered by how the receptionists behave, super rude!!!

I have attended this surgery for most of my llfe. The treatment I have received and the service provided by all the staff there has always been very safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led during this time. The receptionists are very professional, friendly and polite. And all the dentists there over the years have treated me with the utmost care and respect. All who work there have gone out of their way to put me at my ease, explain procedures and answer any questions or concerns I have had. Receptionists are incredulously incompetent. Sadly, the practice hires children who are mentally immature. This was very dangerous when faced with an actual dental emergency. Mr Shaikh is great, but for safety reasons due to lack of professionalism of ancillary staff - recommend you avoid.
