Had hygienist appointment with Fern today, she was absolutely brilliant. I was very anxious when I went in but I didn’t need to be as Fern was professional, listened and did a great job. Highly recommend.
Receptionist was rude rude rude. Told me I'd cancelled my appointment 10 times since waiting for a filling in Sept 24. The dentist had been off sick and I've waited patiently for nearly 2 years. It wasn't me who kept cancelling my appointments. Every time they made new appointments for me, within a week of the appointment it would be cancelled again. I'm in customer service and how I was spoken to today was absolutely shocking 😲 Dreadful.
Christmas eve 2025, phoned at 8am seen at midday by an NHS dentist for an emergency filling the same day. Excellent service. Well looked after. Good work My dentist!
Edit. The much delayed and disappointing response hasn't addressed the 2 key issues I've made. Firstly, the dentist being constantly late, and secondly, changing patients from the MyDentist scheme to private without any prior warning or communication whatsoever. Came in a couple of weeks ago for my checkup. I always have an appointment 1st thing so I'm not too late for work. On every single occasion the dentist is late, this time by 30mins. Every single time he is stuck in traffic. Now if I was late, I'd be charged, not seen and re booked. I appreciate traffic from Exeter is bad but why do…
