City Centre Dentist

Went for my usual dental hygiene appointment with Debbie in January. She's always excellent at explaining things, and I come away knowing what I need to do to keep my mouth healthy. My hygiene's really improved since I started seeing her. She also knows a lot about music, and I learn a lot!

The only positive thing I can say their customer service is good, but their dentists are only good at uncomplicated basic dental work, nothing major. If you have a complex dental job I would not recommend, as there is no professionalism, skills or willingness to complete the job properly. The making of a temporary denture took 12 months, meanwhile they were trying to convince me rubbing denture is normal and I should just overcome it, all ended up making a permanent piece which broke by falling on the hard floor 6 months later. I was a very nervous patient and suffering with complex PTSD, and unfortunately these two big problems can affect the individual's ability to speak. I had a scale and polish with Debbie, and although at first she was full of energy and smiles, moments later she was talking down to me and making me very fearful. The PTSD can also affect the individual's hearing ability because the inside of the mind and body are experiencing total chaos. Visited the practice today for a hygienist appointment. Gemma and Harry were great, explained everything to me, and put me at ease especially as it was my first ever hygienist appointment. I felt well looked after and my teeth look fab afterwards. I would definitely recommend!
