I have been a patient of this dental practice since 1990 when Miss Symes previously owned it. I find Dr Arcot a very professional dentist. He has a calm and reassuring manner. He has carried out treatment on my teeth with expert precision and has always ensured I am comfortable. I am grateful to have access to his services.
Avoid at all costs!!!!! This is a one man dentist who's taken the practise over. The good reviews are from the old dentist who's no longer there! This man is absolutely awful. If your in agony and need an emergency appointment do not even waste your time. He will refuse to do anything to help you. He's obsessed with giving out temporary fillings that WILL fall out within days if not the same day. I needed a tooth extracted, he told me it was far too complex for him. He filled it, but it fell out, so he filled it again after drilling a massive hole in and packed a filling on top of an expose…
I've just been to this dentist as I broke a tooth the whole top is off, nerve is out, swelling on the tooth etc, alot of pain, and without cleaning it he put some soft filling in, that wouldn't set, that i couldnt eat in, and that and I quote" would come out at anytime" did the dentist tell me that information though oh no, I had to go back in and ask why the filling was soft and coming out not 2 minutes after it had been put in and the receptionist told me. Appalling dental practice. Refuses to take NHS appointments and instead, argues with people until they reschedule so that they can make as much money as possible off people. Failed to pick up on a serious problem at a general checkup or most likely ignored it so that they could attempt to make more money in the future. Very crooked, very rude, very unsanitary. Nobody should ever go to this dentist, even in an emergency, it isn't worth it!! THE OLDER 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE FROM THE PREVIOUS DENTIST, NOT THE CURRENT.
