Lovely area of Cornwall, set in the old train station workhouses. Absolutely beautiful building. Plenty of parking available some spaces by entrance some spaces a few meters away. Level access on entry to the dentist. Friendly greetings on arrival from the reception staff, immediately put me at ease. Peaceful waiting area, very clean and doesn't feel surgical at all, just nice and relaxing. Was imagining what the room would of looked like years ago. There are several rooms for patients to be seen, toilets of a good size which are level accessible too. First time here and was not disappoint…
I was recently referred to Khalid, the periodontist, and his wonderful dental nurse Tammy. They were both so thorough and really put me at ease. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. They took the time to explain everything and made a clear plan for my care. A special mention to Tracey, who was so warm, welcoming, and helpful, she made the whole visit even more comfortable. I felt well looked after throughout my visit and couldn’t recommend the team more!
Carriage Works fitted me in really quickly for an emergency appointment. Emma, the dentist who treated me was excellent. She was professional, skilful and friendly, and I felt completely at ease. Everything about my treatment was clearly explained to me and I was given very helpful advice about any ongoing trearment I might receive. I had an emergency appointment booked in with this practice 02/03/2026, Was a very short wait before being seen, the dentists seeing me were extremely kind. I had an extraction which I was reassured throughout which was very comforting, treatment was brilliant. Wonderful staff helping me that day including on arrival and departure. Overall very pleased.
