I attended my first appointment at the dental clinic in Lewisham regarding having 2 implants. The first thing I noticed was how clean, modern, and warm the clinic was. The staff were very professional and friendly. The x-ray was easy and only took minutes not the normal ‘uncomfortable biting down and turn your head this way and that way’. I am extremely disappointed with the communication and administrative standards at Banning Dental in Lewisham. I had to chase the practice myself to arrange my implant review, which should have been automatically flagged and communicated. A private practice should have reliable systems in place to notify patients when follow-up treatment is due. The 48-hour cancellation policy is not clearly stated in email communications. I had a Wonderful experience with the endodontist Dr. Amira Ali that just joined banning dental after Dr cheetan departed. She put me at ease and got to to the bottom of the reason why I experience pain on the root canal treated tooth. Initially i feared it was a deeper issue but after taking taking perfect x rays on the first attempt she showing me that the root canal has been done perfectly, that the little tiny mini infection that remained after procedure, which was very common after such an old, tooth has since cleared up quicker than I thought it would, and that I require a hygienist, …
