Absolutely superb experience with Beauwood Dental Care. I needed extensive dental work carrying out and was placed under the care of Dr Sam Arkle who took the time to work out a treatment plan with me that covered all of my needs. Throughout all of the treatments I felt informed, relaxed and experienced no pain either during or after surgery and treatments. I recently had treatment for 2 dental implants (molars) carried out by Rob. It is expensive, but at the initial consultation he took a lot of time to explain my options and I was satisfied that this was the right thing to do. The first treatment visit was painless - scans and x-rays to plan the work. The implants were placed under local anaesthetic on the second visit. The process itself was painless but, once the anaesthetic wore off, I was sore and needed painkillers for about 48 hours. As an anxious patient I have always hated the dentist but I don’t have this fear when I’m at Beauwood. Sam is amazing! I strongly recommend Beauwood Dental Care. I was nervous at the thought of having two implants. Although they would fix an unsightly and fairly visible gap, I wanted them mostly because gaps/missing teeth had made eating slow and I had to avoid a number of foods.
