Old Manor Surgery

Very disappointed. It’s such a shame as it’s such a nice building and great area. I wouldn’t usually write a bad review but I just wanted to make others aware of what happened… my partners filling got chipped and was in slight discomfort. We got told by this dentist that the only option is for a root canal. Quoted us a huge amount and ALWAYS adds on £45 on top of everything! We went to another dentist to be told that he in fact does not need a root canal and just a replacement filling! Seems to me he just tells people they need stuff done that cost extortionate amounts of money when they do…

Dreadful practice, not even one star should be given but had to give one star so I could give feed back.. over a few years I have been treated by Mr. Chabane Ouali, on all three occasions he has been extremely rude to me, very aggressive, on my last visit a few weeks ago he told me I need a root canal which I was happy to have until he had a a go at me telling me he had given me a quote for £120 for treatment on a different tooth at my last visit a year or so ago. Mr. Chabane Ouali was extremely personable and professional, and happy to explain the procedures I was having as we went along. His assistant could not have done more to make me feel comfortable, and the whole experience was first class. I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Old Manor Surgery.

The dentists are great however the practice manager is appalling. Having only just read the reviews I am taking comfort from the fact several other people have reviewed the same facts that if you dare to question something you simply get struck off the list! 10 months I was registered and not a single element of my treatment completed despite numerous visits. The complicating factor was the awful practice manager. Such a shame as all other aspects are lovely.
