I have been an avoidant and very nervous dental patient for years. Today, however, I felt able to trust and begin to relax. Dr Tocca’s quiet competent air, his willingness to listen to and alleviate any concerns and actually encourage communication on my part enabled me to begin to relax and just trust all will be fine.I am so glad I went although it was fear of experiencing severe toothache in the future that drove me. I think once you have experienced that you never forget it. But a shift occurred today and I feel from now on my motive for returning will be less fear based and more focus…

I see five people on my visit today and you could not fault anyone. Absolutely top class service from the receptionist two students dental nurse and the dental lady I see. Very very friendly and professional throughout. For anyone that’s got a phobia or a dislike of dentists these people make it an actual pleasure to attend. I’m deaf and they were brilliant explaining everything as they done my check up and x-rays nothing was to much trouble at all.

I had lost all hope, after being dismissed by a rude 111 worker, but Lighthouse Dental Practice managed to get me in the same day for an emergency NHS appointment. The place is clean and warm and is located conveniently just a couple minutes walk from a multi-storey car park and bus station. Every member of staff I met there was lovely, helpful and polite. They made me feel at ease. I now have a treatment plan and feel much more positive about my teeth.

I have just recently joined the practice due to being informed by my previous practice that I was no longer in there books due to not seeing them for some time. At first I was very disappointed at having to find a new dental practice but very pleased to say I had no reason to feel this way, as Lighhouse dental practice so far is lovely. I am very nervous when visiting the dentist but Mr Davis was amazing! He has a very calming demeanour to him and explained everything before doing anything. Honestly I cannot recommend this place enough they seem to have an amazing team and truly care.
