Due to a very traumatic experience in the 60's, when i witnessed my mum have some kind of seizure in the dental chair i have been left with the dread of Dentists. I attended Huntly Dental Practice today, and I the most eye opening experience with their Dentist Amna, what a kind,understanding,patient and knowledgable young woman. I have had occasion to take my two granddaughters for their Childsmile appointments with Alison and 5 stars are not enough to rate the excellent service she provides. She has a natural rapport with children and immediately puts them at ease and engages with them. They are almost unaware that she is checking and subsequently treating their teeth and there is no anxiety or upset. What Alison does is a brilliant lesson on looking after your teeth and her influence and approach means that the girls understand the importance of brushing and as importantly healthy snacks.
