I’ve been a patient at Honley Dental Practice since I was about 6 years old, I am now 23 years old. For this reason, I never understood why people said that they were afraid of going to the dentist - as I’ve always had such good experiences. The staff are always very kind and good at what they do. Today I had two premolars taken out, which is obviously a very uncomfortable experience. Had an appointment today for a wisdom tooth extraction performed by Saqib and his assistant Kelly. I was quite anxious about having it done especially with it being a wisdom tooth. I was soon made to feel at ease with Saqib and Kelly's lovely proffessional manner. The injection didn't hurt and Saqib explained everything he was doing. He made me feel I could stop at anytime during the extraction so I could have a rest . He was so calm and confident i was quite amazed when the tooth came out! The most wonderful experience today as far as dentist visits go. My session was with Richard and his assistant (sorry, i didn't catch her name). The customer experience was fab from beginning to end, they were very attentive and put me at ease. Richard was so patient and explained everything to me in ways i could understand, talking me through my XRAY's and he had time to answer my questions. I felt he was really interested in my experience and I didn't feel at all rushed which is a first. I left with a good understanding of the issue and a plan which was reassuring.
