First thing Monday morning is probably not the best time to go to the dentist 🦷. I must say that my visit to the Wessex was a pleasure, a smile from reception and booking in was the start of a professional service. Surprised and pleased to see everyone welcome with a handshake 🤝. Entered the surgery and received my handshake from my dental surgeon. ( Richard). Visited this dentist for the first time yesterday and was really impressed by the facilities and the professionalism and courtesy of the staff! Firstly this place is huge!!! And it was very different for me to be able to choose my dentist even when visiting privately. The aesthetic of the place is really high also. All the staff I interacted with were extremely helpful and the reception team worked to resolve my insurance issues without me waiting around meaning I could go on with the rest of my day! Hi, I was quite anxious about having to have a tooth removed. But the receptionist staff and dental nurse put me at ease. The dentist, Benedict Davis was very good, very helpful as I explained about my medical history. Mr Davis explained all that was to happen. I went away quite happy. On the day of the extraction the staff again were kind and helpful. Mr Davis was again very good. It didn't take long and although it was uncomfortable, it was nowhere near as bad as I was afraid it would be. After care too was explained and easy follow. I couldn’t recommend The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre more. I was referred there from my practice for a wisdom tooth extraction and from the initial appointment to getting the tooth removed a few months down the line all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Richard Ramsay and his dental nurse are amazing and made me feel so calm and at ease and explained everything clearly to me. The extraction literally took about 10 seconds and I was horrified at the thought of being awake for it but it was the easiest and pain-free procedure ever!
