Gorgie Dental

I had one of the worst dental appointments of my life at the Gorgie Road dentist clinic. The dentist only carried out one X‑ray and nothing else, yet a month later the receptionist called me claiming they had done three X‑rays and a teeth cleaning, and that I now needed to pay for it.This is completely untrue none of that work was done except one X-ray. The level of organisation and professionalism is extremely poor, and the way they handle patient records and charges is unacceptable.I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and genuinely shocked. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

I am a seriously anxious patient when it comes to the dentist and I started seeing Celia, wow she’s amazing! Goes through everything that needed done, doesn’t rush and is constantly making sure I’m ok during my appointments! So glad I’m slowly getting over my fear because of her. Not a lot of dentists have the patience for people with severe anxiety but Celia definitely does. The practice is lovely and so is reception staff. They always send an email/text or give a call to remind you of appointments.

What can I say!! The most wonderful dentist ever. Made welcome with the lovely friendly reception staff who are always kind, caring and take time to help. Best dentist 100% in the city, been with them for 20 + years. Asked for an appointment for my partner who moved to Edinburgh from England, he had a missed call and returned it but a male receptionist dismissed him and said nothing available for unregistered patients, rather disappointing as lady I spoke to said it was possible but have to say always best dentist and highly recommend.
