Duncan Street Dental Centre

Utterly incompetent to a baffling degree in so many different ways. Such a terrible service meant for people who are already suffering complex challenges to dental care. Its literally impossible to get a visit as a housebound person. Needs a complete overhaul.

After getting an appointment through I phoned and found out it was an error with there computer, as you can see today's date is 05/07 2022 because I missed a appointment in March 2021 according to this special computer I missed an appointment when the whole of us were in lockdown and dentist couldn't give anyone treatment. But no this was an sedation appointment when they can't do that because of lock downs. I paid in advance for treatment here and have now been referred back to my normal dentist so they are due me money. The receptionist lee/leigh complete waste of time and doesn't know …

Had appointment with Mr Skene & having a phobia of dentists, he made me feel comfortable, talking me through everything he would do during the appointment, giving me time to ask any questions. I have to get a possible surgery & he has explained all the next steps that will take place at my next appointment. The only downside is the waiting area is very clinical with nothing to distract you whilst you wait, you basically just sit there and stare at the reception staff,

Had a tooth removed today and I had to say it was the most relaxed dental trip. Shaun/sean was so reassuring and didn’t put pressure on me to rush through the appointment. He had a very calming demeanour. The dental nurse he was in with was also lovely and held my hand to help with my anxieties. Also thank you to the reception staff who helped me when I felt a little bit dizzy after coming out, they got me some glucose and I was fine. Thanks again, hopefully curing my fear one trip at a time.
