Came after a long time to the clinic for my emergency appointment. I am dentally anxious, but the receptionist explained everything to me before the appointment and tried to calm me down in the waiting area by chatting with me. Felt good to be welcomed so politely. The dentist and nurse were good as well. Had a great experience. Won’t be scared to visit the practice again.
Do not go here if you are an NHS patient. I was wrongfully charged for treatment I should have received for free. Upon disputing the charge and receiving a refund I was promptly dismissed and told I was unable to return as a patient (not that I would have anyway). Staff were impolite and unprofessional. I was asked to return and pay with cash as the card machine had been ‘down for months now’. It took me months to get an appointment in the first place. Staff never answer the phone, always had to phone at least 5 times multiple times a day to get any response.
Where to begin with this practice? Changed hands numerous times over the years and has now devolved into a state of total anarchy. Received a letter at the start of October that my 9 year old was being removed from the practice. This was because of rude behaviour. Our last joint appointment was the end of April and the letter was received in October. Finding this hilarious and an obvious case of mistaken identity, I phoned the practice. This practice has changed ownership, and my experience with the new team has been very disappointing. The receptionist was so rude and unprofessional. She raised her voice during phone calls and ended the call abruptly. Several of the skilled dentists who previously worked here have since left, and the overall service quality has noticeably declined. I was also told to bring cash because the card machine was ‘not working.’ However, I saw another customer before me pay by card without any issue.
