Forest of Dean Community Hospital

Had an out of hours appointment and the staff were so welcoming and friendly! I had Helen and she made me laugh and feel very at home. Very easy place to navigate and every room is spotless. Car parks big and free!

Love the hospital. It's well managed, clean and great service whenever we have been here. Much more convenient than having to go to Gloucester and wait times are vastly reduced. It's not open 24 hours so check timings but excellent if you need hospital during their open hours. There are electric chargers for cars there as well.

Excellent new facility. Plentiful signs to get you there, and a good-sized free carpark. My appointment was with the MSK team, who were unparalleled. On time, friendly and very professional.

This morning my sister a diabetic type one, by mistake took the rapid insulin instead of the long lasting 24 hour insulin….. she took 38 units enough to kill her!! And what does the NEW CINDERFORD hospital say “we are not equipped to help her” all a diabetic needs in this case is a GLUCOSE DRIP!! So why weren’t they equipped?? We called an ambulance and there are NO AMBULANCES AVAILABLE!!! This is an emergency… conclusion we had to take her to a Gloucester hospital!!! Unacceptable for the Cinderford hospital!!!!
