Chulmleigh Dental Practice

OK I freely admit I am a "scaredy patient", can't help but that's what it is. But Louise and her nurse along with Sabrine (?) in any event the entire practice have reassured me. So if you are In Any Way a "scaredy patient" and there is NO shame in that! then DO try here. Oh and the filling I had replaced today? YES!

I have been with this practice for a few years and they have been very helpful. I suffer repeatedly with problems around my wisdom teeth (infections around the partially erupted tooth) and they always help and last time I had repeated visits to solve it. I also have two small children and the staff have a lovely way with them, keeps the children calm and feeling safe - so much better than what I had as a child.

I've been very lucky with my teeth but at the age of 50 I had to have a badly cracked tooth removed and my one filling needed to be refilled and the tooth built back up. I was very nervous about the extraction having never experienced one but both Jenny and her lovely nurse put me totally at ease and made me feel much more relaxed. Everything they did they explained before doing it, made sure I was comfortable and understood that I do struggle with pain and stiffness in my jaw from RA so may need to stop for a short break. I have a real fear of dentists and haven't been to one for over 14 years. After a recent bout of tooth ache I had to admit defeat and register with a dental practice. None of the south molton ones were taking on new patients and I was recommended Chulmleigh practice by a friend. I'm so glad I was! I saw a lovely male dentist called David Love who totally put me at ease and was lovely. I had a thorough examination, 2 x x rays and a scale and Polish. 14 years of a phobia and it wasn't as bad as I thought!!!!! Would highly recommend the practice. I'm so glad I have found them!
