I had a dental scale and polish today with Lucia, who is an excellent dental hygienist. I was extremely satisfied with her service! She’s kind, professional, and I felt completely in expert hands. Booked in for what was supposed to be a simple £27 check-up and left wondering how it turned into a sales pitch. Apparently everything with my teeth was “fine,” yet within minutes I was being steered toward extra add-ons I never asked for, including a £150 mouth guard that felt completely unnecessary. It was the kind of assumptive selling where they talk as if you’ve already agreed to buy it.
