I have been with this dental surgery for 16 years, of late this surgery has gone hugely downhill. I am a NHS patient and trying to get an appointment is like winning the lottery. For 6 weeks I have repeatedly had my appointment rearrange or cancelled on the day, once was an hour beforehand, apparently down to them not being able to see NHS patients, although would see me if I paid to join their scheme. My autistic 9 year old had an appointment this afternoon. He needs a filling in one of his molars he’s been in pain with toothache for weeks but it’s impossible to get an appointment. After managing to get one for today in the school holidays and unable to drive with 4 young children I phoned the office to see if it was ok for my sister to take him to the appointment. With 7 kids between us we wouldn’t all fit in her car so I had to stay to watch the other kids. I visited your dental care on 17th August with a very bad tooth ache, I saw the Dentist and after an X-ray of the tooth he said that it needed to be removed, he said that he was not qualified to undertake procedures that may require surgical removal if the tooth broke and that he would refer me to another surgery where this would be possible, I thought this strange at the time because I thought these people were qualified dentists capable of extracting a tooth. I had a crown fitted by these jokers a while back because they are the ONLY dentists in Bexhill who still accept NHS patients. There's a very good reason for that. I was certainly shocked by the uncaring attitude and incompetence of some of the staff and was very surprised to be asked to pay by CASH for my £240 treatment and luckily, used my credit card instead. Lo and behold, within two weeks of being fitted, the crown had fallen off.
