Barrow Dental Aesthetics

The staff, from the secretary manning the desk, to the nurse and dentist herself were all pleasant and friendly, whilst remaining very professional. I was made to feel comfortable and welcome. The surgery is very clean and the waiting rooms comfortable and well laid out. Treatment rooms themselves are spacious, light and airy. My treatment requirements were clearly explained by the dentist, and she listened when I explained why I might only be able to accept partial treatment at the moment. Don’t usually have any problems with this dentist. But today my son who is NHS and normally exempt from paying for his treatment was given a clean without being told this was a private treatment. Costing me £120!! Upon scrolling through the reviews I can see this has happened to other people too. When I phoned up the dentist on reception to query this, the man who answered was very abrupt, and blamed my son for not speaking up. As a recent new patient I only have praise for this dental clinic. The dentist put me at ease during my initial check-up (the first in too many years) and explained everything to me which was very reassuring. He recommended some additional work scaling and polishing, followed by airflow cleaning which I’d never heard of. I have just returned for these treatments today and I’m blown away by how clean my teeth now look. They’ve never been this clean in my adult life.

Had my forst check up appointment. Very pleasant experience. Receptionist is lovely and very helpful. The dentist were very thorough. Busy dentist everyone seen too and would recommend. Booked on for next appt for treatments.
