Barnstaple Health Centre

The medical care I had was excellent and therefore I am giving a rating of 5 star. However if I was asked to rate the reception I received from reception staff I would give 1 star. It was a struggle to park so I got to the reception just at the time of my appointment. There were 3 members of staff in reception one a nurse and two office staff. I was ignored by all of them, in the end I said excuse me just in case no one knew I was waiting. I was visible so they knew I was there actually. Just been for an emergency dental appointment in a Sunday. Steve the dentist was a lovely guy and made me feel very at ease and his dental nurse was wonderful . Had temporary filling done. Just now need to find an actual dentist that is taking on patients.

Absolutely vile place for birth control, Went in to get my implant removed and was refused, they then forced me to take all sorts of tests and took more blood than needed. I left feeling dizzy and very unwell. I am now currently still suffering from extreme pain in my arm and sweating while I have no fever. I am 16 and should not be in this much pain when I have tried to seek medical help! Please go elsewhere for your Contraceptive needs!

My partner managed to get an emergency appointment today at Barnstaple health Centre after weeks in pain and unable to get appointment anywhere the dentist was very polite and friendly.Thankyou
