I have waited a few years to post ..I will say that Neil was very caring and would recommend him for implants .. but I was referred by my dentist to Ashley House as a specialist dentist .. this was during Covid and I had a major problem with a failure of my bridge due partly to chemotherapy.… I tried to be strong but the understanding from the reception staff (Neil’s daughter was kind and helpful) and my dentist Russell was appalling making my anxiety unbearable … I then moved around 1 hour 30 mins away from the practice and zero help to organise appointment times to accommodate my 3 hour …

Clinicians seemed competent, but administration was very poor. After my check-up on 13 January, no appointments were ever confirmed - April was only mentioned vaguely while I was waiting for a treatment plan and costs. The only communication I received was a last-minute reminder on 27 January for an appointment on 2 February that I had never agreed to (I had to call the practice 9 times in a single day and email to discuss what’s the reason for the booking and why no one informed me), so I couldn’t attend. Poor communication and lack of clarity forced me to seek treatment elsewhere.

I had an implant placement and gum lift surgery with Neil, and I highly recommend him! He’s an outstanding specialist — kind, caring, and professional. I felt completely safe throughout the process, and the results have been excellent!

This week I gave my dental history to a new dentist locally. This included, for 17 months from 2023 to 2024, having a swollen face, stabbing ear pain and losing weight from problems with mouth opening and chewing. I was referred by a consultant ENT surgeon to Ashley House; after a long delay, and a second consultant letter, shame on A.H.for refusing to see me. Zero star rating.
