My GP was incredibly kind, always listened and explained things to me rather than talking at me. She included me in decision making which made me feel very listened to. She also checked my past medical records and asked follow up question whereas other GPs I have been to have repeated same treatments that had already not worked and refused to listen when I had told them that. Never had a problem with the receptionists who all had been very kind to me. Prescriptions always sent off very quickly and sorted out any issues promptly. The nurses also have always been very kind and understanding. …

I had an appointment to see physio Mr Osbourne about hip a problem. He diagnosed that I have arthritis. I was in a lot of pain and struggling to put weight on my left leg when standing after being seated. He gave me some exercises to do and it's made a great difference after just 6 weeks. I'm no longer in pain and carrying on with the exercises. Very happy with the treatment I've received. 5 stars.

19th January, 2 text messages Dr O Malley has taken the liberty of upping the doses of medication I'm currently taking, I've been to the chemist today.... he hasn't sent new perscriptions down to chemist...RESULT IS I'M NOW LEFT WITH NO MEDICATION.....

First time visit to Irwell Medical Pratice . Wow! What excellent service from the two lovely ladies on to the the two nurses that treated me. All of the the said staff had a fantastic professional but friendly attitude with smiles on their faces . Absolutely the best face of the NHS in Bacup . Well done to the staff & management, keep up the great work
