I’ve been to a fair number of dentists my lifetime, but I have to say this is one of the best dental practices I have ever been to. I’m a nervous patient and my dentist is very accommodating of me, especially the fact that I cannot lie back too far. I had another dentist at a different practice telling me it’s not possible to be slightly upright as it’s not good for their health and safety. We found the Mint Dental Practice through the NHS app and contacted them straight away to book an appointment, they fitted us in within the week as new patients and emailed out a medical questionnaire to fill in prior to the appointment. On arrival we were very warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. The Practice is well decorated and whilst compact it is very efficient. We were asked to briefly wait in the waiting room until a Dental nurse came to fetch me to go and see the dentist. I have just finished a course of treatment of fillings and a crown. Dentist Giles, the dental nurse and team were all great. I couldn't have received better treatment. Giles discussed fully with me the treatment required, including the option of having a crown or a filling and the possible implications of my choice. During the filling and crown I was kept informed on the progression of the treatment. After treatment had finished I was always asked if I had any questions. Thank you so much to Dr Giles and his fantastic nurse. They gave me an emergency appointment as I am an unregistered patient but I have put my name down on the list to join the practice. I'm a naturally anxious person and dread the dentist/opticians/Doctors etc but they put me at ease and did an incredible job in getting me put of pain. They did so with no judgement, which I was worried about because of mistakes I have made in the care of my teeth. Thank you so much. I hope to join your books as soon as possible. Highly recommended!
