Ashworth Hospital

This is a very large compound, with many well-designed complexes, and it apperars to have an abundance of features which ensure that it is a very secure facility as regards ingress and egress. It caters to the needs of individuals with psychiatric issues. The location is very far from major parts of the city though, so getting here might be frustrating if you're using public transportation.

Spent 4 years here Admission Arnold ward was horrible especially the night staff but moved to Shelley and got on pretty well. Spent 12 years in total in psychiatric hospitals around the country I’m now off section and married leading a peaceful life. Good luck to you all

It costs about £300,000 to keep each patient at Ashworth for a year. Thats abit far fetched dont you think, crazy fee
