I visited First Practice for the first time earlier this year for an emergency appointment due to my veneer breaking (and looking and feeling horrendous). I’ve not visited a dentist for a long time due to a previous dentist in South Cave not only botching me, but really hurting me in the process. It only takes one bad experience to develop a fear of the dentist (please bear in mind I’ve had various complex procedures over the years with no issues or fear until this one bad experience). Shocking! I don’t think I’ve ever been to an establishment that has had so many mis communications in processes. I was Booked in for something totally different to what I asked for, the dentist was ridiculously rough in the check up and X-rays. The practice manager seems an email response and feedback appropriate to a very distressing experience. The practice also were very persistent on my children joining despite myself declining a number of times. It would seem the availability is there for a reason. First Practice - first for service. Saturday pm - find a lump of tooth in the bread I was chewing. Sharp edges and discomfort, but no pain. Monday morning 10.45am, phone First Practice to arrange a fix. Monday 12.00midday - walk out with tooth fixed. Many thanks to Stuart and his team.
