Preswylfa Dental Practice (de-registered 30/07/2025)

Absolutely fantastic! I was very nervous about re joining a new dental practice as it has been a good few years since my last dental appointment. I've got a sweet tooth and due to past experiences I was very nervous about being grilled about my dental routine. From the moment I arrived I was reassured by kind and friendly staff. The dentist and dental nurse were both fantastic and explained everything well. I can't recommend this dental practice enough! (Especially if you're a nervous patient like myself)

Poor management, poor customer service skills by receptionist, Imagine needing emergency treatment for a broken tooth waiting 3 months for an appointment then phoned the day before to say that the dentists isn't there. Wait another 3 months turn up and they're closed apparently an IT problem, 7 months on still not fixed or an appointment. If you don't mind constantly chasing appointments and waiting months and months for emergency treatment then definitely use this dentist. On a plus the dentist is lovely if you get to see him!

Poor place for new patients, I been paying denplan for months now, waiting for an appointment from preswylfa dental surgery, and not heard anything off them. Tried phoning them, and get the phone put down, and to leave a message. Left numerous messages, and still not heard anything off them. My partner went into see them, and she was told they knew about me, and heard my messages, and there was no appointment for atleast another month, because apparently both dentists were on holiday for 4 weeks, really. I moved to Anglesey last year and was fortunate to be taken on by this Dental Surgery as an NHS patient. The Dentist I see, Mike Strothers, has been brilliant with me, has explained every step of my treatment and ensured that I had as relaxed an experience as possible. All the staff I have encountered have been both kind and polite. I highly recommend this surgery.
